Overview
We heartly invite you to join ISTA's International Seed Testing Congress 16-22 June 2010 in Cologne, Germany.
The Congress includes
- A Seed Symposium reporting the latest developments and results of seed science in oral and poster sessions
- ISTA Technical Committee Meetings reporting on latest developments, validations and standardisation of seed testing methodologies in 18 areas of seed technology
- A Policy Forum held by the German Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Consumer Protection (BMELV) will deal with "Harmonised seed testing and global seed trade"
- ISTA Ordinary Meeting, the business meeting of government representatives regarding inclusion of internationally validated seed testing methods in the ISTA Rules and other ISTA affaires
- "Pre-Congress Workshops" for seed analyst training
- "Post-Congress Tours" to laboratories, breeders, growers, etc. demonstrating the situation in Germany
- Trade exhibition
The Congress is hosted by the German Federal Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Consumer Protection (BMELV) in cooperation with the Federal State North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany.
The organisation lies in the hands of the Federal Agency for Agriculture and Food (BLE).
The conference language is English.
